“Give your daughters difficult names. Give your daughters names that command the full use of tongue. My name makes you want to tell me the truth. My name doesn’t allow me to trust anyone that cannot pronounce it right.”—Warsan Shire (via airmovesthick)
So people often wonder why African Americans and Africans don’t get along sometimes. I’m not saying that that’s the case all the time. But it’s a constant battle of he said she said. So let me explain it from an African’s point of view.
AA are prone to ignorance at times. Now not all of them…
so i have a friend on facebook and he said if he was straight he will never date a black woman and these are his reasons
”I don’t really like black women .. I don’t find them attractive.. fake hair that they barely wash.. many can’t speak correctly.. no you can’t Axe me a question.. and aint no one tryna pay their bills… oh and I like pink puss not purple.. the dry skin is gross. Their hands are gross. Most be loud as hell. How many baby daddy’s do they have? Their style is ridiculous. Black gums aint cute. A man’s arms should be hairier. Should I keep going?
my opinion: i know this guy… i used to be friends with him…. and i think he is just mad cause he wished he was a black woman… this is not the first time he has attacked black women…. he is always talking some negative mad shit about black women…. am sorry u can’t be us sweethearts
